About the Company

Paco Winders Mfg. Inc. is the
leading U.S. manufacturer of paper converting equipment for the
production of paper cans, cores and tubes. Since it founding in
1955, the company has placed thousands of machines throughout the
United States and in more than 40 countries worldwide. Located in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania since its inception, Paco manufactures
its products in a modern 30,000 sq. ft. plant.
Our products include spiral and
convolute tube winders, semi-automatic and automatic tube recutters,
tube labeling recutters and related converting equipment, such as
creel stands, festoons, unwind stands and a variety of adhesive
application equipment. Paco Winders Mfg. Inc. designs, builds and
supports all of its own products. All machines are fabricated,
assembled and tested on-site.
The company has a customer base of
several hundred users of its equipment, including the largest
producers of can tubes and cores in the world. Exports outside North
America account for about 30% of sales. An extensive parts inventory
allows Paco to ship 95% of customer parts orders in less than 24
hours.
Development of new products starts
with the determination of new trends and production needs of the
paper tube, can and core industry. Paco achieves this through plant
visits, participating in industry trade shows and maintaining an
active Associate Membership in the Composite Can and Tube Institute
(CCTI).
Paco’s size has allowed the
company to produce products that give its users both quality and
value. We are large enough to take on substantial projects and small
enough to pay close attention to detail. Since we design, machine
and assemble, we are able to maintain great control over our
production and respond to the specific needs of our customers.
